God’s Kingdom
We’ve all heard that God loves us. It’s a good statement; it is a deep truth. And, for most of us, it’s challenging to digest. After all, we certainly know what the opposite of love looks like. Guilt and shame seem to proudly glare at us, emptiness seems to be more of a reality, and understanding God’s love seems, at times, distant.
The truth is, the life of Jesus came to fill our emptiness and to set us free from all these shadows of despair. With his death and resurrection, we can learn and understand a better way. When we decide to engage Christ, the way we live starts looking drastically different. It’s amazing what love can do.
