We Don’t Like Church Either <

Face it, many people don’t like church. There’s many reasons.

All of them are pretty valid: out of touch, cultish, driven by guilt, judgmental… When the Bible talks about church, are these the descriptions that God had in mind?

We don’t like church either…at least, not these types of church. We need help. We need the love of Jesus to be more real than these descriptions. We need the church to be different. We can change if we can agree on what NOT to be…we can change if we value God’s dream for the church. Maybe we can change the definition, together.

We’d like to invite you to a conversation this October/ November. Over nine weeks, we’ll be hitting these topics and seeking to resolve what Jesus actually had in mind when he dreamed of the church.

  • October 2: It’s Out of Touch
  • October 9:It’s a Cult
  • October 16: It’s Judgmental
  • October 23: It’s Impersonal
  • October 30: It’s Intolerant
  • November 6: It’s Money Hungry
  • November 13: It’s Lazy
  • November 20: It’s Guilt Driven
  • November 27: It’s Extremist
